I love Mary-go-rounds as an art form. The dynamic poses of the characters, the beautiful colors and the fairytale imagery of the carousel itself. What kid would not fall in love with that. I was at the Portland, OR zoo this summer and they have a carousel also. As I and some friends walked past the line of people waiting to take a ride. Watching the little ones gazing at the characters going by, seeing pore love in their eyes.
